Work from Deborah Luster's Tooth for an Eye series will be included in Art in the City in the fall of 2018. The exhibition by the Historic New Orleans Collection will be shown in the Collection's new Seignouret-Brulatour Building located at 520 Royal Street. The exhibition is presented by the Helis Foundation.

The Art Museum of Southeast Texas will present a solo exhibition by Deborah Luster, Passion Play, with an opening reception Friday, September 28, 2018 from 6 - 8 p.m. In addition to the exhibition of photographs, Luster will be premiering a series of 35mm "screen tests." The exhibition will be September 22 through November 25, 2018.

Photographs by Deborah Luster's Passion Play series are included in Prison Nation, a major exhibition by the Aperture Foundation, and are featured in an accompanying issue of Aperture magazine. The exhibition runs from February 7 to March 7, 2018.

The National Gallery of Art announced a major exhibition of 200 works acquired in honor of the 25th anniversary of the Gallery's photography program. The acquisition and exhibition included work from Deborah Luster's One Big Self series, portraits of prisoners of Louisiana.
